The AlienCamel email service was started in 2003 with the vision of building the best independent email service for individuals and small businesses that can't afford an IT department. We were the first service to offer virus scanning with two engines and the use of bayesian statistics for spam detection. Our service is built using a variety of services and technologies. Some of our technology and service provider's logos appear below.
We are based in Australia and our service operates out of datacenters operated by The Planet in the United States and Lightup in Germany. We also use Amazon's S3 service. We use software from FreeBSD, Debian, AOL Server, Communigate and Postfix; and our antispam system incorporates software from Spamassassin and dSpam combined with our own technology which is covered by Australian and international patents.
We love to hear from our current and prospective customers so drop us an email using our help page.
