You can upload many common formats for address books. If you are using Microsoft's Outlook Express, you can use the "CSV" format. Ensure the email address field is selected - other fields are not needed. Also, one email address per line in a text file will always work.

We can tell your browser to remember certain things, such as your login email address and password. This makes using Aliencamel more convenient because if you're the only person who uses your computer, you won't have to keep logging in to process your Pending emails or changing your settings.

Your logged in status will expire after 2 weeks. This means that if you forget to log out on a computer that is not secure your emails will be protected. We believe this is a good balance between convenience and security.

Choosing the "log out" option from the aliencamel web pages will erase your saved email address and password.

Warning: Do not choose this option if you're using a shared computer for example in a library, at school or in an Internet cafe. Any subsequent user of this machine would be able to access your Aliencamel email account.

Check that you are using your full email address to login (ie. admin@aliencamel.com) and that you have it spelled correctly. For your password make sure you do not have the Caps Lock on. If you have lost or forgotten your password use the password recovery page.

The maximum number of recipients is 25 per email.

When sending with an email client, the largest size is 100MBytes.
When sending with webmail, the total size of the message including attachments is 16MBytes.

On the Paypal web page, there is a link to click if you are not in the US. The link will initially say "not in the US", and when you select it, it will give you additional fields to complete for addresses outside the US.

It is an established payment system that allows you to manage your subscription. We also avoid having to handle your credit card information, ensuring your privacy and security.

You can search for email addresses on the Blacklist and Whitelist pages. 2nd section on the right hand column, there is a search box.

Each folder (including the INBOX) is limited to holding 2GB of email. If you need more space you need to create a new folder and move some of your email to it.

You can release the "non-spam" ranked emails from your Pending Email Advisory and move them into your Inbox by simplying replying to the Pending Email Advisory. This method does not add the sender to your whitelist and does not process any of the spam-ranked emails, you will still need to process those via the Pending Email Advisory by clicking on the Process button. This feature requires you to use the AlienCamel SMTP server to send outbound emails.

Make sure you have SMTP authentication enabled. If you still can't send emails it is probably because some Internet Service Providers block their users from sending email through other servers directly. AlienCamel listens for SMTP on other ports in order to get around this restriction. Try setting the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) port to 587.

To ensure that your account is protected from hackers, if your password is entered wrong ten times within sixty minutes your account will be suspended for sixty minutes. This feature applies across all types of logins including web, IMAP and POP. Please ensure you disable any software doing automated checking such as your mail client if you are having problems.

To ensure that pending emails can be processed efficiently, as new pending emails arrive, the oldest spam-ranked emails will be deleted immediately to ensure there are no more than 3,000 emails in the pending folder. If the pending folder has 3,000 non-spam ranked emails, as new pending emails arrive the oldest non-spam ranked emails will be moved into the Inbox.
