Setting up Microsoft Entourage 2004 for Macintosh.
The main settings are:
- Incoming IMAP or POP server: aliencamel.com
- Outgoing SMTP server: aliencamel.com
- Username: username@aliencamel.com
- Ensure that the SMTP username and password fields are entered. It is the same
as the POP or IMAP username and password.
- Start Entourage. Select Entourage/Account Settings... from the toolbar.

- Select Account type IMAP and Click OK to continue.

- Now enter the details of your account. Under Personal Information
use the name and email address you want recipients to see
in the From field of your emails. You can set this to your
AlienCamel email address
or if you are forwarding emails from an existing email address you
can use that email address. Tick the Save password box.
In the Sending mail section
click on the button Click here for advanced sending options.

- Tick the box SMTP server requires authentication as shown below
and then close the sub-window.

- Select the Options tab.
The recommneded settings are shown below.

- Select the Advanced tab.
The recommneded settings are shown below. Click OK to continue.

- You should now see the aliencamel email server and the standard folders.

- Disable the built
in spam filtering as it may conflict with the AlienCamel
filtering. Select Tools/Junk Email Protection... from the toolbar
and select None as the level of protection.
Click OK to continue.

- You're now ready to send and receive email with Aliencamel
