Setting up Microsoft Outlook 2002 and 2003.
The main settings are:
- Incoming IMAP or POP server: aliencamel.com
- Outgoing SMTP server: aliencamel.com
- Username: username@aliencamel.com
- Ensure that the SMTP username and password fields are entered. It is the same
as the POP or IMAP username and password.
- Start Outlook. Select Tools/Email Accounts from the toolbar.

- Select Add a new e-mail account and Click Next to continue.

- Select IMAP as the server type.
Click Next to continue.

- Now enter the details of your account. Under User Information
use the name and email address you want recipients to see
in the From field of your emails. You can set this to your AlienCamel email address
or if you are forwarding emails from an existing email address you
can use that email address. Tick the Remember password under
Logon Information.
Click More Settings to continue.

- Select the Outgoing Server tab and tick the box
My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and
Use same settings as my incoming mail server.

- Select the Advanced tab and make your settings as shown below.
Click OK to continue.

- You should now see the aliencamel email server and the standard folders.

- Select Tools/Options from the toolbar and the Mail Setup
tab. Click Send/Receive....

- Tick the option Schedule an automatic send/receive every 5 minutes.
Click Close.

- Select the Other
tab. Tick the option Empty the Deleted Items folder upon exiting.

- For Outlook 2003 users only - disable the built
in spam filtering as it may conflict with the AlienCamel
filtering. Select the Preferences tab
and click the Junk E-mail button.

- Select No Automatic Filtering
and click OK.

- You're now ready to send and receive email with Aliencamel
